We crafted this autumn-leaf-colored ale around the earthy, nutty character of wild rice, with layers of caramel, ripe fruit, toasted grain, and a hint of maple-like sweetness. Smooth and richly layered, it evokes the bittersweet nostalgia of fall. The recipe blends ingredients from brewmaster David’s earliest brews with a few new discoveries—a reflection on more than twenty years of his brewing career.
