Upcycled decor
Interior Front Door Trim- from Coles Bashford’s home, located in Oshkosh, WI. It was torn down in 2004. Elected in 1855, Bashford was the fifth governor of Wisconsin.
Panel Door on Display Area- from a farm house in Hardford, WI
Large Divided Light Windbreak- from an office building in Algoma, WI
Bow Truss Ceiling- these were made in Minnesota in the 1940’s and 50’s. They had a 2x4 tying them together at the bottom. We had an 80 year-old engineer from Menominee Falls who had extensive experience in this truss system redesign it to utilize a 5/8” rod, moved it up 18” and eliminated the 2x4’s.
Brick walls throughout- bricks are Chicago Pinks made in Chicago from the 1870’s -1970’s. Our brick is from a building torn down in Milwaukee.
Crate End Wall- these crate ends were found up inthe trusses. They are from clothing shipped to this building in the 1940’s and 50’s.
Front Furniture Grouping- sectional and lamp are from Harold and Gertie’s (Jackie’s Parents) home. Purchased in the 70’s and used until 2003 in their home.
Bathrooms and Storage Room Door Trim- lumber barons home in the fox valley.
Door Trim on Inside of Bathrooms- is froma farmhouse in Hartford, WI
Grey wood on Front of bar, walls, trim and around teh windbreak window wall- hard maple that came from a railroad loading dock in Slinger, WI
Small, wall bar top- from a pickle brine barrel used in a factory in Green Bay, WI
Furniture Grouping in Rear- sofa, chair and lamp was purchased in 1950’s and used in Harold and Gertie’s home 1950’s-80’s.
Red “I” Beams in the brewery- these were reclaimed in the 1960’s and used to build that portion of the building. We are trying to find teh origin of these repurposed beams. Do YOU know where they came from??
